As I started my own business, it's been important to me to work with clients and collaborators whose values align with my own. It's also important for me to acknowledge I'm a total work in progress. This statement outlines those values with the hope of connecting with others who feel the same.

Thank you to freelancer and colleague Dennise Mena for her thoughtful eye and communications prowess as editor on this project.

MY PERSONAL COMMITMENT

As a consultant, collaborator, community member, sister, daughter and auntie, I acknowledge and am committed to understanding my own privilege as a white, cisgender, able-bodied woman and using it to amplify the voices of others and support individuals and organizations from traditionally marginalized communities. Through reading, dialogue, art and activism, I strive to learn more about the perspectives of individuals from these communities and how I might use my privilege for good. My commitment is driven by a desire to help build and contribute to a more equitable, inclusive, knowledgeable, healthy and loving community that rejects racism and hate of any kind. I welcome clients, partners and collaborators who hold these same inclusive values.
